Raffle Kick Off

Our team needs to raise $2,200 per member in order to walk in the Breast Cancer 3-Day this fall. We are on our way there but still need to raise more $.

We are looking for businesses who are interested in donating a gift or service for our raffle. We will be holding the raffle on August 3rd, 2008. You will not need to be present to win! There should be some GREAT prizes!

Training Kick Off

Today we participated in the 24 Week Training Kick Off. We met fellow 3-day walkers at the New Balance store in Seattle and went on a 3 mile walk. It was quite cold but the walk felt great!

Fund Raising

We have officially started our fund raising! Each walker needs to raise $2,200 to walk in the 3 Day event. My personal fund raising goal is $2,500 and I hope to raise even more. The proceeds will go to benefit breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment.

Getting Started

I am very excited to start this incredible challenge. We have formed a team "The Boobie Dolls" and now have 3 members!! I have started walking 3 miles at a time. It really feels great but I just can't quite imagine doing that 7 more times in one day!!!

I can't wait to participate in this amazing event and help make a difference for women!
